FACE/BEAUTY SUBMISSIONS

This section is for test shoots, beauty shoots and good old fashioned head shoots. Please send all submissions to bonheurxiv@gmail.com or submit them through our website with the title BEAUTY.

FEATURED SUBMISSIONS

BONHEUR accepts article features from designers, artist, musicians, etc. Please send all potential feature content to bonheurxiv@gmail.com for our editor to review with the title FEATURE.

Submission Guidelines

When submitting please follow the guidelines outlined on this page. Upon reviewing submissions, BONHEUR Fashion Magazine reserves the rights to accept or deny any submission we receive. Submissions are reviewed based on their content, quality, and relevance. BONHEUR Fashion Magazine looks to publish ONLY the highest quality work.

Once submitted, you accept all the agreements on this page.

What to Submit

Submitters have the ability to submit an existing series of images that were previously created but not submitted to any other publication or seen on social media. Submitters can also provide a submission proposal which includes a series of images strictly for BONHEUR Fashion Magazine.

Anyone is eligible to submit. Submitter must provide information regarding the entire team who worked on the submission. That includes photographer, model, designer or brand photographed, makeup artist, and hair stylist if applicable.

NOTE: All submitters shooting for BONHEUR Fashion Magazine are not 100% guaranteed to be featured in an upcoming issue or online feature. Our editorial team reviews every submission and decides if the submission will be used in print or online. BONHEUR Fashion Magazine reserves all rights on their selection.

For submission proposals, please provide the following information to be included in the submission form:

A PDF or MS Word document with 200 – 300 words about the editorial along with the pictures. It could be a story behind the editorial, information about the brand showcased, and/or inspirational article related to the editorial.
A minimum of six images with a 300 dpi.
Complete team credits.
Link to website / portfolio / Social Media

Additional Information

When submitting for the BONHEUR Fashion Magazine, unless BONHEUR Fashion Magazine conducted the shoot, the submitter must provide written consent from the photographer that the images can be published.

BONHEUR Fashion Magazine does NOT provide free print copies. Currently, the publication is printed exclusively through a Print by Demand Service. We do not pay for submissions and all photo shoot expenses are the responsibility of the team conducting the project.
Any submissions accepted by BONHEUR Fashion Magazine should ONLY be featured with BONHEUR Fashion Magazine unless otherwise agreed too. If we learn the submission is featured with another magazine, we will remove your feature. However, you can submit your images to other publications 30 days AFTER they have been published by BONHEUR Fashion Magazine.
Image selection and layout are determined by BONHEUR Fashion Magazine. We might not use all images provided. your paragraph here.

EDITORIAL SUBMISSIONS

Please note, before you submit that we only accept exclusive content. If we find your editorial in another magazine or on social media, we will cut it from the issue.

Additionally, BONHEUR Magazine can only accept submissions from the photographer. The only time we can make an exception is if you have full copyright permissions or a letter of permission from the photographer.

Requirements for Submissions:

BONHEUR will publish quarterly issues starting in March, June, September, December. We will have submissions that are in season for the issue.

Deadlines 2022:

March/Spring Issue: (Theme: Spring/Bright Colors) February 15th

June/Summer Issue: (Theme: Summer Colors/Beach Themes) May 15th

September/Fall Issue(Theme: Fall/Fall Colors) Fall : August 15th

December/Winter Issue (Theme: Holiday Issue) : November 15th

Submit your editorial as high res PDF, including all images from the editorial, wardrobe credits, and team credits.

Editorial submissions are required to have a minimum of 6-8 looks. Additionally, we do not accept "stylist's own" for wardrobe credits, so keep that in mind. We want to know the label no matter what, regardless if it belongs to the stylist or is vintage! Same goes for beauty submissions and makeup labels.
